Common questions about the Flipsnack API
Yes. The Flipsnack API accepts a PDF of up to 500 MB and 1,000 pages. One call returns a published flipbook and its embed code. Websites, portals and internal systems convert documents without anyone logging in.
The Flipsnack API is included in Enterprise plans. Once your plan is active, generate an API key and secret key in account settings. Your developer can start making requests right away. Talk to our team to get access.
Yes. On Enterprise plans, the Flipsnack API returns engagement for one identified reader on a flipbook: views, clicks, time spent on each page, link clicks, and first and last visit. Readers are matched by email, one-time password email, SSO login or a trackable link. Teams use it to time follow-ups and sync reading activity to their CRM.
The Flipsnack API accepts PDFs up to 500 MB and 1,000 pages, with up to 1,000 uploads a month per account. Larger volumes can be arranged on request.
Yes. The Catalog API creates and syncs catalogs from your ERP, PIM or product feed, so products, prices and SKUs stay current. The JavaScript API sends clicked products to your website cart, matched by SKU.
A custom API connection needs a developer: a few days for a simple setup, a couple of weeks for a bigger pipeline. Without a developer, the Zapier, HubSpot and Salesforce integrations cover most use cases in a few clicks.
Every API request is signed with your API key and a unique MD5 signature. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Flipsnack is SOC 2 audited and ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 20000-1 certified. Vendor review documents are in the Security Portal.
