rous. Ariel. Q: What do you consider to be the most rewarding outcome of your adventurous spirit? A: Because of my adventurous spirit, I swam to shore and watched the humans on Prince Eric’s ship enjoy his birthday celebration. A terrible storm caused the seaman to lose con - trol of the ship and it eventually caught re. Eric would have died if I hadn’t been there to pull him up from the water, and I wouldn’t have the wonderful life I have now. I am thankful that my adventurous spirit was able to save the life of my one true love. Q: What advice would you give young girls who are in pursuit of a dream that seems too farfetched to ever achieve? A: I would tell them to do whatever it takes to accomplish their dreams. Be adventurous. Be curious. Be lively. We only have one life, make the most of it. That isn’t to say that my ad- venturous spirit never put me in troublesome situations, because it did many times. I even unintentionally put my father’s life in danger by making a deal with the evil sea queen, Ursula. I would tell them to be cautious of how their actions affect others, but to also be true to themselves. Q: Where are you now? What is your current life like? A: Eric and I live happily married together on land, but I frequently visit my father and sis- ters by travelling on a boat far into the ocean. They swim up the surface and chat with us at least once a month. I am also very busy with my recent anti water pollution campaign. Although I don’t live under the sea anymore, I do all I can to make sure my friends, Sebas- tian and Flounder, can have a clean and healthy life under the sea.
